Asymptotic preserving schemes for collisional kinetic equations

In this talk we present some recent advances on the development of high order asymptotic-preserving (AP) schemes for collisional kinetic equations. We discuss the AP paradigm in the context of Implicit-Explicit Runge-Kutta and multistep methods. Applications to quantum kinetic equations are also presented.
