Abstract:

In this talk we will present our recent results on the convergence of some standard finite volume schemes for the Euler equations of fluid dynamics. The convergence results are obtained via the concept of dissipative measure-valued solutions assuming only that gas remains in ist non-degenerate region. Furthermore, if the regular solution exists we will show uniform (asymptotic preserving) error estimates for compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the singular limit as the Mach number tends to 0.
