Hydrodynamic limit with geometric correction in kinetic equations

We consider the hydrodynamic limit of kinetic equations in 2D bounded domains. We disprove the classical theory of boundary layer derived from Milne problem and propose a new approach with geometric corrections. Also, we will utilize the L^2-L^{\infty} framework to study both the steady and evolutionary problems. This work helps to clarify some longtime confusion in this field and can possibly be extended to more general cases.
