ABSTRACT

The KI-Net is organizing a one day workshop on "Kinetic Theory and Molecular Modeling "  to be held at the KI-Net node at Iowa State University, Ames. This is part of the RIW (Research Interaction Weekend) activity. Limited financial support will be provided to support young researchers to participate in the workshop.

GOALS

This workshop aims to bringing together researchers with expertise in mathematics, physical chemistry, and biological physics.  Our goal is to stimulate interdisciplinary discussions on new developments in the cross area of kinetic theory and molecular modeling, and foster future collaborations.  There will be short presentations on molecular modeling, and on mathematical and numerical advances of kinetic theories in related applications.
