Summer School on Mathematical and Computational Methods in Quantum Dynamics

Aug 16 - 20, 2013

University of Wisconsin-Madison
Mathematics

Visitor Guide

ABSTRACT

This summer school will offer a series of mini-courses on computational methods for quantum dynamics by leading mathematical scientists and theoretical chemists. The topics include Gaussian wave packet methods, semiclassical dynamics, wavelet-based fast solvers, and multiconfiguration time-dependent Hartree-Fock methodologies, among others.

GOALS

The aim is to offer  broad overviews on modern computational technologies to address the challeging issues in quantum dynamics, including the multidimensionality and high-frequency nature of these problems.
